Five hundred orphaned children from social care institutions took part in the “Birth of the Light” fair organized by the “Al-Mabarrat Charitable” Association at Al-Sayyeda Khadija Al-Kubra Mabarrat on the occasion of the birth of the messenger of peace Muhammad.
The fair included a welcoming speech by the Mabarrat's director Alia Karim, and a performance of the play “Shine on the People, O Moon” by the Lebanese Puppet Theatre under the direction of the director Karim Dakroub. Afterwards the choir of the Al-Sayyeda Sukayna Arts Institute for Girls and of Al-Sayyeda Khadija Al-Kubra Mabarrat presented Prophetic panegyrics, after which the children moved to the corners of entertainment games prepared by the Alwan Arts Forum, and the fair closed with the distribution of gifts.
