Al-Mabarrat Charitable Association published the book “Al-Mabarrat's Harvest of Administrative Development 2: Human Resources Management”, in which it set out the outcomes of its experience in the administrative development programme for the institution's staff, in cooperation with educational research bodies and with the participation of experts in the world of educational administration. The book runs to 115 pages, in which “the unit for continuous development and self-assessment at Al-Mabarrat” shed light on the approaches it has adopted in human resources management at the level of selecting staff: from recruitment, to professional development, through performance management and assessment, and on to developing drive and motivation among staff. This book is the second in a series of publications under the title “Harvest of Administrative Development”, intended to “secure leaders on a continuous basis for all the basic posts at Al-Mabarrat, and to achieve harmony between administrators and educators through the adoption of a shared scientific administrative-educational language and of decisions applied smoothly across the sites”. The Director General of Al-Mabarrat said in the book's introduction: “In order to pursue the path of development seriously, effectively and productively, Al-Mabarrat developed a training framework built on an advanced scientific methodology. This was the school administration development project, which was amended into the educational administration development programme, and which was later integrated into the administrative development programme at Al-Mabarrat Charitable Association.” He added: “When the administrative development programme is mentioned, so is Ms. Rana Ismail (may God have mercy on her), the deputy Director General for educational affairs at Al-Mabarrat, who left a distinctive mark on the path of development and training at Al-Mabarrat and was a pioneer in what she sought to achieve.” He expressed the hope that: “the Harvest series will be of benefit to those looking toward a promising future in the management of administrative, educational and teaching work in particular, and in the management of institutional work in general”.
