Mabarrat Al-Imam Ali (PBUH)

The Imam Ali bin Abi Talib (PBUH) Charity was established in 1991 in the southern town of Ma’roub at the expense of the generous benefactor Hajj Muhammad Ahmad Darwish, may God have mercy on him. It is the first institution of the Charitable Association of Charitable Associations in the south.

Departments of the charity:

The charity includes the following sections: vital facilities carefully equipped under the supervision of specialists to suit the approved care style, floors designated for housing divided into families that meet health and environmental requirements, including ventilation and lighting, and a living room that houses a number of orphans under the supervision of a care supervisor. It also includes a library, a prayer room, a clinic and a dental clinic, a restaurant, a laundry room, three large halls for activities, iftars and weddings, a sewing workshop, and warehouses.

Al-Mabarrah services:

The charity provides educational care services through daily homework follow-up programs and the implementation of support programs in core subjects as needed, in coordination with the school, especially for children with learning difficulties. It also maintains regular communication with parents to collaborate on monitoring their children's educational progress.

The Educational Guidance and Care Department monitors children's behavioral conditions through preventative, advisory, and therapeutic measures, in coordination with all concerned parties, including parents, care supervisors at the organization, and others, with a focus on sensitive age groups such as adolescents and certain special groups such as newly orphaned children

The charity offers its members a religious program open to contemporary life that addresses their interests and needs. This program includes: weekly religious cultural lessons presented by a religious guide, daily congregational evening prayers, discussion groups with the children, and various religious celebrations.

It consists of a set of themes that include social, religious, health, and cultural concepts, distributed according to age groups. It aims to build the child's personality in an integrated manner. The program's sections are implemented by the supervisors, who are experts in the areas of expertise from within and outside the institution, and who are appropriate to the content of the sections. 

These include all preventive and therapeutic services provided through the institution's on-site clinic and dental clinic, as well as contracts with nearby health centers to provide various specialized medical services. Children also benefit from hospitalization services when needed, and various medical supplies (glasses, etc.) are provided

Life monitoring programs include procedures for securing and monitoring various environmental services for the children in the orphanage, including cleaning, heating, ventilation, and laundry, with the goal of ensuring a safe, healthy, and secure environment for the children

Al-Mabarrah Restaurant provides all daily meals freshly prepared according to food safety standards and requirements. All restaurant staff are trained on these standards and monitored daily by the Health Department. The daily meal programs also include snacks between main meals, especially during school hours, to accommodate children's needs and preferences

include a wide and diverse range of indoor and outdoor activities that combine entertainment with the development of various life and social skills in children (scouting camps, recreational games, sports, trips, competitions, handicrafts, artistic segments, etc.)

Special programs:

In coordination with the Imam Ali (PBUH) and Imam Jaafar Al-Sadiq (PBUH) schools affiliated with the Al-Mabarrat Charitable Society, following up on children who need special follow-up programs, such as: the program for following up on expatriate children and the educational integration department’s programs for children who suffer from learning difficulties.

The charity also monitors children suffering from behavioral issues through a behavioral intervention program run by the Educational Guidance Department in coordination with the Central Educational and Care Guidance Unit in the Directorate of Care Affairs.

Al-Mabarrah projects

The Ramadan Revival Project

annually includes a range of offerings and activities related to the holy month, most notably: accepting invitations from charitable donors to iftar banquets hosted by the charity's members, providing Eid gifts and Eid clothing for the children, distributing meals and food rations to the children's families, holding Quranic study sessions, and various indoor and outdoor cultural activities and competitions inspired by the holy month

Al-Mabarrah Park Equipment Project with Recreational Games

The project aimed to provide a permanent and safe recreational oasis for Al-Mabarrah's children. The park was planted with trees and provided with recreational facilities, including a variety of outdoor games suitable for children's age groups (swings, slides, etc.) with a natural grass floor (kazun). These games meet general safety requirements and are regularly maintained

Provisions Preparation Project

A project that involves preparing a variety of food items at the Mabarrah restaurant (thyme, tomato sauce, bulgur, frozen vegetables, etc.). The goal is to provide healthy provisions for the children instead of purchasing them ready-made from the market. This helps save a portion of the financial cost, in addition to securing financial revenues by selling products that exceed the children's needs

Permanent Exhibition Project for Educational Program Products

This exhibition features corners featuring products from educational programs and guidance programs implemented with children (paintings, handicrafts and arts, health guidance cards, educational tools, etc.). It aims to familiarize visitors and families with the quality of guidance services and educational materials provided to the children of the organization

Clubs:

aims to enhance children’s Quranic knowledge through Quranic sessions, memorization and recitation activities, and internal and external Quranic competitions.

The club aims to foster a sense of social responsibility among children by implementing social service activities in collaboration with local community institutions (municipalities, social and health institutions, etc.). The club's activities vary between social activities (providing in-kind assistance to poor families, visiting nursing homes, etc.) and environmental activities (beach, forest, mosque cleanups, etc.).

The club offers weekly sports training sessions for participants, including football skills training, as well as a focus on sports values ​​and ethics

The club's activities vary between anthems performed by the Al-Mabarrah Choir and various theatrical works performed at internal and external events and celebrations
