Al-Rahma Secondary School received the Director General of Al-Mabarrat Charitable Association Dr. Mohammad Baqer Fadlallah, who toured the school's sections with the school's director Ms. Sulaf Hashem and the cycle directors, accompanied by the coordinator of the Directorate of Education Mr. Fayez Jaloul and the coordinator of the educational institutions affairs office Ms. Rima Kalakesh. He entered the classrooms and made many interventions, especially in the secondary section, in which he encouraged the pupils toward diligence and perseverance in order to reach the best results, and focused on their role in the future and their responsibilities in passing the test of life in a way that pleases God, stressing a number of values for them to adopt.

The Director General then held a meeting with the members of the school's board and the coordinators, during which he addressed the full range of teaching, educational and everyday matters.

He began his remarks on the nature of this meeting, which he regarded as consultative, saying: We thought it right to meet in the last days of the school year to share the concerns we have lived with at Al-Mabarrat's schools during this school year, and we hope the coming year will be a “normal” year free of stumbles and crises… And this can only be achieved through consultation with the institution's administrative and teaching leadership - a leadership marked by educational awareness and by the academic competence on which we rely to preserve what Al-Rahma Secondary School has achieved of success and results at the national level.

In addition to the communicative competence able to communicate and engage with the teachers so as to pass on the store of knowledge, skills and competencies they possess, with the aim of sharing, qualifying and empowering all the teachers - especially new teachers - and of discovering and developing their latent energies.” He continued: “Al-Rahma Secondary School has had a bright history since its beginnings… and has imposed itself at the level of the Nabatieh area - an area marked by a density of long-established schools and educational institutions… and so it has taken for itself a leading place among the existing schools.”

As for the unstable living situation, the Director General expressed the hope “that the crisis will not last into the coming year… and that the general administration will not hesitate to stand beside the staff in any pressing circumstance of living, health or life”.

Dr. Fadlallah dwelt on the matter of staff salaries for the coming year, saying: The fog prevents us from seeing clearly, and the pupil numbers prevent us from settling on final figures… But we affirm that salaries will take account of the difficult conditions the staff are passing through, and that the administration will support everyone through the “teachers' support fund”. The administration's door is open to discuss and study the difficult situation of any member of staff at the institution.
